Dr. Sampsung Xiaoxiang Shi is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Faculty of Law of Queensland University of Technology (QUT). From early 2010 to mid 2011, Sampsung taught intellectual property law at the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL). He also worked for the Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau as a legal manager, handling intellectual property issues at the 2010 Shanghai Expo. Sampsung was accepted into the annual Summer Doctoral Programme (SDP) run by the Oxford Internet Institute in partnership with The Berkman Centre for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School in 2007. He received degrees of Bachelor in Law (2001) and Master in Civil and Commercial Law (2006) from the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL), and also completed his PhD on digital challenges and copyright solutions at QUT in 2010.
